Sometimes it is hard not to smile. ‘So what’s this new tablet for?’ ‘It’s to help your memory.’ ‘Oh. Why?’ ‘Because you are finding it harder to remember things.’ ‘Oh, ok.’ Pops the pill and then…yep…ten minutes later… ‘Why I am taking ANOTHER pill?’ ;-(
Last year’s fete de violette in Tourrettes-sur-Loup.
Not so surprising. You find twin yolks in eggs. I have seen twin tomatoes, etc BUT when I bought a dozen or so lychees they were all separate. Seriously. These little darlings became co-joined overnight! And try as I might I could not pull them apart… Cue music for the Twilight Zone 😉
French workmen know how to take a break!
Not an English delicacy. I lied ; this true story made me smile at the time. And now I am smiling again as thanks to Simon Birch, ‘Mouse’ is about to appear in paperback. Next stop Waterstones 🙂
