Depression cure: Music is my drug of choice.

I’d like pay a tribute to Bernie Taupin and Elton John.

Firstly to Bernie for sharing the lyrics and secondly to Elton for adding such great, uplifting music.

There have been many times over the last twenty years when those lyrics have resonated very clearly with me. So, I thought what could be a better way of saying thank you, than to recreate (loosely) I’m Still Standing, with my most supportive friends. And a good time to do this would be when I’m 60. So, in the future when I have ‘rainy days’ I can see and hear the new version and know that help is always at hand.

Also dedicated to family and friends who never reached the grand old age of 60. This is for you too. J xxxxx

Okay…none of you will believe this but I copied the above from a word document and it reads…you too. xxxx

There is no J. However, the cousin who died aged 57 was called Janet and so it seems she is ‘listening’ 😉 So, of course I will leave it in.

The most fun I have ever had with my clothes on….

And here is the fabulous original!

Music is a blessing that can rejuvenate your soul. Music
also works as a treatment for many depression patients. However, if you suffer
from clinical depression then music might not do the trick. In such cases, you
    can get, which are very
effective in treating mental disorders and they come with no side effects.
